Dr Brandon Yeo completed his medical degree and GP training in Manchester, UK, where he developed a strong foundation in patient-centred, evidence-based care while working across diverse urban communities. His experience in Manchester shaped his commitment to inclusive and compassionate healthcare, and strengthened his passion for supporting people from all walks of life.
Dr Yeo recently relocated to Australia with his husband and their beloved cat, embracing a new chapter both personally and professionally. He is excited to bring his experience, warmth, and values to Equality Health
, where he looks forward to building meaningful and long-term relationships with his patients.
As a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Dr Yeo understands the importance of accessing healthcare in a genuinely safe, affirming, and non-judgemental environment. He is passionate about ensuring every patient feels respected, supported, and truly heard throughout their healthcare journey.
Dr Yeo has undertaken training in gender affirming care and is committed to supporting transgender and gender diverse patients with thoughtful, individualised care at every stage of their journey. He works closely with specialist services when needed and strives to be a trusted GP who understands the unique healthcare needs of the LGBTQIA+ community.
He is currently undertaking HIV S100 prescribing training and is passionate about improving access to high-quality HIV care within a familiar primary care setting. Dr Yeo is committed to supporting patients living with or at risk of HIV with expertise, empathy, and without stigma.
