Dr Saika Sabrin is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) with more than 15 years of medical experience, including over 12 years practising in Australia. She is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred healthcare and enjoys supporting individuals and families through all stages of life.

Prior to joining Equality Health, Dr Sabrin worked as a General Practitioner in Ballarat and Hamilton, Victoria, and as a Senior Resident Medical Officer in regional Victorian hospitals. Her broad clinical experience spans general practice, emergency medicine, women’s health, paediatrics, dermatology, geriatric medicine, orthopaedics, and general surgery.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Sabrin has contributed to medical education as a clinical educator and examiner for MBBS medical examinations in Australia. She is passionate about lifelong learning and has completed further postgraduate qualifications in Paediatrics through the University of Sydney, Skin Cancer Medicine through Bond University, and Emergency Medicine through the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine.

Dr Sabrin values the diversity and continuity of care that general practice offers and is dedicated to building long-term relationships with her patients. She takes a holistic and evidence-based approach to healthcare, ensuring patients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make informed decisions about their wellbeing.

She is passionate about Equality Health’s commitment to improving access to healthcare for people from diverse and historically underserved communities. Dr Sabrin believes primary care plays an important role in reducing health inequities and is committed to creating an inclusive, welcoming, and respectful environment for all patients.

Outside of medicine, Dr Sabrin enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, and catching up with friends over a good coffee. She speaks both English and Bengali, allowing her to connect with a diverse range of patients and communities.
